On September 27, our middle school youth began confirmation. Along with another youth in our community, our middle schoolers met at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Hacienda Heights for their first quarterly confirmation retreat. We are partnering with three other ELCA churches in the area: St. Mark’s Hacienda Heights, Christ West Covina, and Rock of the Foothills La Verne.
Over the next two years, our confirmands will attend quarterly education retreats, regularly attend worship, and participate in service projects.

Kimberly and Pastor Jenifer will be holding monthly Saturday Catechesis for children in grades 1-5 and their families. This will be an opportunity for young children and their families to dive into Luther’s Small Catechism and grow their faith as they learn, ask questions, and serve together.
